The PTC ceramic heating element is composed of PTC ceramic heating elements and aluminum tubes. This PTC heater has the advantages of low thermal resistance and high heat exchange efficiency, and is an electric heater with automatic constant temperature and power saving. One of its outstanding features lies in its safety performance, that is, when the fan fails and stops running, the power of the PTC heater will automatically drop sharply due to insufficient heat dissipation. At this time, the surface temperature of the heater will be maintained at about the Curie temperature (generally about 250°), thus avoiding the "reddening" phenomenon on the surface of the electric heating tube.
Advantages of PTC ceramic heating elements: 1. PTC heat-sensitive ceramic heating elements have special functions of constant temperature, temperature adjustment, and self-control. When AC or DC voltage is applied to the PTC element, its resistivity is very low, and the temperature rises rapidly below the Curie point. Once the Curie point is exceeded, the resistivity suddenly increases, causing the current to drop to a stable value, achieving the purpose of automatic temperature control and constant temperature. There is no need for additional temperature control circuit components, and the PTC element can be adjusted through formulas according to different temperature requirements. 2. Non-combustible, safe and reliable. When the PTC element is heated, there is no redness, no open flame (the resistance wire is red, and there is an open flame), and it is not easy to burn. When the temperature around the PTC element exceeds the limit, its power will automatically drop to the balance value, which will not cause the danger of burning. 3. Longevity. The PTC element itself is an oxide ceramic with a long service life, without the disadvantages of high-temperature oxidation of nickel-chromium wire, and without fragile phenomena such as glass and quartz tubes.
The PTC ceramic heating element can be used normally under low pressure and high pressure, and the low-voltage PTC element is suitable for various low-voltage heaters, low-temperature compensation for instruments, and various heaters for automobiles.
